This short lived superhero show was about a Children's book writer named Nicholas Fleming. In the daytime, he was the average kind, funny, and caring person. But at night, he would transform into Jon Sable, a superhero/vigilante who would fight crime.
His sidekick of sorts was a blind man named Joe Tyson. Nicknamed "Cheesecake", he pretended he was a stand up comedian, complete with his own recorded laugh track.
SABLE lasted just seven hour long episodes.

1 - "Toy Gun"
A toy manufacturer comes to Sable for aid when his granddaughter is kidnapped and the kidnappers demand he commit suicide if he wants her to live.
2 - "Hunt"
A British reporter comes to Chicago to warn Sable that the son of the man he killed is in town for revenge- while Eden gets a lucrative New York job offer.
3 - "Evangelist"
Sable gives a child he found at the apartment of a murdered orphanage worker to Cheesecake to look after, while he discovers a baby selling scheme is going on at the orphanage.
4 - "Serial Killer"
Sable is asked to protect the next victim of a serial killer, whose trademark is a white rose, by the killer himself.
5 - "Copycat"
Sable goes after a hitman who is killing lowlifes using Sable's name, while his alter ego, Fleming tries to help an unco-operative teenage runaway.
6 - "Watchdogs"
A reunion between Sable and his critically ill stepmother, who he hasn't seen in years, is interrupted when Cheesecake needs his help against a neighborhood watch group turned racist.
7 - "Mob"
Sable gets rid of his makeup as he helps a friend, a top thief, who fears for his life since a mobster is killing all the top thieves since his safe got robbed.
