You know that phrase "It will never play in Peoria"? Well, Peoria's WTVP was exactly where a Godzilla movie once played.
Actually, more than once. Part of their permenant library, central Illinois' PBS affiliate Channel 47 usually pulled out their Godzilla movie on occassions of following a Doctor Who Pledge Drive as a special bonus for the viewers. But when they stopped airing Doctor Who around 1993, another special occassion now periodically causes the movie to be shown. It's called "Sweeps".
