The Thrill of Illinois: Big Bean
The 1990 movie "Spaced Invaders" took place in the fictional town of Big Bean, Illinois.
Following the misadventures of a handful of aliens who crash their ship on Halloween night and mistakenly accept a rebroadcast of Orson Welle's "War of the Worlds" as the real thing, the aliens befriend young Kathy Oxley, a girl who just moved to Big Bean when her dad takes the job as town Sheriff. By the time the five bumbling aliens decide to give up their attempts at invasion, they still have a killer robot to contend with.
